Born in Bulgaria, based in Germany, at home around the world, the dj and producer Kosta Kostov never stops the search for the best Global Bass tunes. His sets are furious mixes of sounds from here and there, including own compositions, remixes and mashups, in which balkan, mediterran, african and american rootsy flavas meets all the nice bass stylez. From dubstep and ragga through funk and breaks till house and electro. Mastermind of the monthly parties Balkan Express and Favela Blast he is also resident of Global Player, the Funkhaus Europa Club, the world wide music radio station.

Kosta Kostov’s second release on UrbanWorld Records the EP "Mambesa" is like a chocolate praline box full of surprises. 3 different tracks – one inspired by gypsy tallava, other reminding of southafrican kwaito and one more in ¾ hypnotic gnawa style, they all have something incommon - Kosta’s proper bouncy-shaky blend of traditional and eclectic electronic. "Mambesa" hits also with refreshing remixes by DJ Otto (Mexcio), Mo Fire (Denmark), Moroka (England) and DJ Chernobyl (Brasil).
